Our Wedding Host will assist the Bride & Groom from the beginning in organizing and planning your wedding requirements here at The Fortress.

According to your chosen package the Wedding Host will ensure that you are relaxed before the wedding with treatments from LIME Spa for both the Bride and Groom and prior to the wedding day the bride can have a pedicure and manicure as well. Hair and Makeup artists can be arranged if required.

Local Dancers will celebrate your marriage in traditional costumes and footman or flower girls can sprinkle fragrant Araliya flowers in front of the bride as she makes her way to her groom.

Weddings set in beautifully landscaped gardens with flowing water features or on the golden Sri Lankan sand beaches under the traditional Srilankan wedding stage intertwined with flowers.

Our Yoga Pavilion is a tranquil setting for a ceremony draped in traditional local flowers and with a roof made of old tiles sourced from the area it makes a peaceful and serine setting within the gardens.

For the most romantic of weddings as the sun is just setting the bride glides of twinkling star light swimming pool towards the sunset and her groom who awaits her under the flower arch on the edge of the beach overlooking the ocean.

Guests at a wedding will be looked after before the ceremony with cool drinks and chilled fragrant towels. Of course Champagne will be served to celebrate

After the wedding the Bride & Groom can have photos with our wedding photographer and a videographer is also available on request. The wedding album with photos will be presented to the Bride and Groom along with a special gift from the resort team.

Our wedding hosts can suggest any number of options for after your wedding, canapés in the gardens for you and your guests. A romantic dinner for two in wine3 or a party! Dinner under the trees over looking the ocean or in a number of private garden locations where we can set a table for two or 50 guests with white linen and beautiful tropical flower arrangements.

You could even be whisked away by the helicopter high into the hills to a secret tea plantation bungalow for that romantic first night.
